The hand-lettered cover

There is a love of hand-lettered design these days, and I feel it is partially inspired by the book designer Jon Gray. You will probably recognize his cover for "Everything Is Illuminated" by Jonathon Safran Foer, but possibly not these other amazing jackets. His writing often looks rough, but when examined closely (or given any attempt at replication) it is both intuitive and highly sophisticated. Trust me!
